Hu deeply analyzed the severe challenges faced by the potato industry in 2024, pointing out that uncontrollable weather factors such as frost and persistent rain, coupled with a depressed market, as well as widespread premature senescence and soil issues caused by chemical damage, have collectively formed a "winter" for the industry's development. Facing these difficulties, Hu expressed empathy and emphasized that Nongzhilian has always stood alongside potato growers to confront challenges together. Sun Jun, Chairman of Nongzhilian, delivered a wonderful speech, sharing Nongzhilian's new布局 and new thinking for the coming year. Sun first expressed sincere gratitude to all the cooperating partners, suppliers, and farm owners attending the conference, with special thanks to the farm owners for their trust and support of Nongzhilian. Sun discussed how to "win" from three perspectives: key factors for increasing yield, the relationship between price and quality, and key aspects of cost control. He also explained Nongzhilian's value and the original intention behind its establishment. Through selecting products with authentic quality at competitive prices, iterating application research solutions, and focusing on key issues to meet customer needs, Nongzhilian has earned customer satisfaction and recognition.  PHI Potato Plant Health Workstation Signing Ceremony

 Sobel and Nongzhilian joined forces, officially signing an agreement to jointly establish the PHI Potato Plant Health Workstation. The two parties will work together to solve various problems in potato cultivation, providing professional and scientific technical support to growers. The workstation will go to the front lines, conducting meticulous monitoring and diagnosis of soil conditions and leaf health during potato growth, promptly identifying and solving problems such as salinization, NPK imbalance, and trace element deficiencies. Through in-depth field research, the workstation will precisely analyze the key factors affecting healthy potato growth, tailoring solutions for growers to help them achieve scientific cultivation and improve yield and quality.

At the signing ceremony, Wan Taibin, Chairman of Sobel, spoke from the perspective of a seasoned grower with 16 years of experience, sharing his personal cultivation journey. From a grower's unique viewpoint, he recounted his曲折 experiences cultivating grapes, then potatoes, and then carrots, with every word reflecting the difficulty and persistence required in farming.

During his sharing, Wan also emphasized the importance of testing in the cultivation process. He likened testing to the eyes of agronomists and also the eyes of farm owners – without testing, many problems would be difficult to detect. Regarding farm testing, Wan looked ahead to the future of the planting industry over the next ten to twenty years, believing it will be a difficult and challenging journey. Therefore, he called for relevant scientific and technological work to be deeply integrated into the daily management of farms.

To this end, Wan explained in detail the importance of five aspects: first, portable real-time testing; second, targeted testing; third, continuous testing; fourth, long-term positioning trials; and fifth, testing of agricultural product marketability. Wan believes that as long as testing is penetrating into farm management, everyone can become a professional grower.

 Gong Yingchun, Head of the Marketing Department, shared in detail the outstanding contributions of GreatRoot in potato cultivation. She comprehensively revealed the extraordinary journey of GreatRoot from R&D to iteration. Its latest version, GreatRoot Tuber Edition (5.0), has demonstrated remarkable effects in promoting early tuber formation, increasing tuber count, and preventing premature senescence, bringing unprecedented yield increase hope to potato growers.

 Yao Mengdie, Sales Department Manager, reported on the tracking data and effects of GreatRoot application on potatoes in the Bashang region. Over two consecutive years, root observation was conducted on 60 farms using GreatRoot across 9 counties (xian), and continuous data monitoring was performed on 12 farms. The results showed that increasing the frequency of GreatRoot applications improves efficacy: using 30 liters per hectare (L/ha) once increases tuber count by 1-2 per plant; two applications lead to a more developed root system at the mid-stage, with a weight increase of 0.2 kilograms (kg) per plant during the tuber expansion stage. When leaf yellowing occurs at the mid-stage, a third application can help prevent premature senescence to a certain extent.

Four key findings were summarized: Mitigating of yellowing, improvement in tuber nutrient content, improvement in soil nutrients, and wise product selection. GreatRoot effectively helps farm owners achieve better potato cultivation.

On-site, Zhang Haibing and Li Binghao, Bioassay Department Managers of the PHI Institute, conducted a live leaching experiment, demonstrating GreatRoot's rapid SST Delivery Technology, which delivers nutrients directly to the root system. An anti-hard water experiment showed that the patented technology resists flocculation in highly hard water. A pH adjustment experiment demonstrated GreatRoot's ability to adjust both acidity and alkalinity.

 Bioassay demonstrations on different potato varieties all verified that GreatRoot promotes early tuber formation, increases tuber count, and prevents premature senescence.
